Information about people at companies

SalesMap helps businesses find companies that may want to buy from them. Our customers, and the AI agents they use, ask us about companies. We answer with facts about each company and, sometimes, the people who hold a role there.

What we return about a person

We do not provide email addresses, phone numbers or home addresses. We do not make guesses about a person, such as whether they are likely to buy or have changed jobs.

For people at companies in the EU, the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, we return only the role and the link to its source, not the name.

Where it comes from

Why we use it

So businesses can find the right companies and the right roles to talk to about their products (business-to-business prospecting). Our customer terms forbid using it for anything else, including credit, insurance, housing or employment decisions, and forbid reselling it.

Who receives it

Our customers, when they ask about a company you work for. Under California law (CCPA), giving this information to customers may count as selling or sharing personal information. You can opt out below at any time.

How long we keep it

We re-check a person's name and title against its source, or drop it, after about 12 months: a person we have not found again in that time is deleted. If you opt out, we delete what we hold about you and keep only a one-way fingerprint (a hash) of what you entered, so we can keep you out of future results.

Your choices

Opt out

Enter your name and your employer's website, or the link to a page about you. We store only a hash of what you enter, and from then on we leave you out of everything we return to customers. If you have worked at more than one company, send the form once per company.
